My group decided to take the bus from the ferry for our weekend trip, so we walked 6 minutes from the terminus bus stop at the Legislature to the hotel. The Strait was only a 10-15 min walk south, and Victoria Harbour was a 10 min walk north. The houses in the neighbourhood are some of the nicest and cutest (and probably oldest) houses in BC. The prices at the James Bay Inn Hotel were worth the location, walkability, and amenities.
