"Location to Victoria harbour was great. BC transit is just outside and fairly cheap for a day pass although staff weren’t able to provide information about it. Good parking including secure underground. Hot tub was okay but has no jets. Pool was an okay temperature. Nice having a restaurant onsite as this hotel does not provide breakfast."

"Pretty good place to stay but it’s not quiet, at least it wasn’t quiet on the 1st floor. Also, the pattern of the floor and bathroom tiles make it difficult to tell if it’s actually clean. Front desk staff was VERY nice and helpful. I’d stay here again"

"This was our first time to Victoria and staying at the Empress. The hotel was amazing!! I can not say enough how well maintained everything was, the beauty of everything was unreal. The location was perfect, we could walk to most places we wanted to go for sightseeing. The Empress has a really nice restaurant but the hotel is close to many other great ones around if you want to try something else. We would definitely stay here again."
