Location was great. The hotel had great character.
Very clean. Nice garden. A kitchen and a fridge is a big plus!
Very quaint and historic building in Downtown Victoria. Had a very faint smell from the fireplaces, but it was far too warm during our visit to use it during our stay.
Could hear a bit of traffic noise in our room that I have never experienced there before and the mattress could have been better but other than that a very good hotel
Located down town, close to everything. Everything is within walking distance
We visited Victoria for just one night and the location and price suited our needs. The gal at the reception desk was lovely and very helpful.
The fact that a good breakfast place was attached was great. We liked that the location was good for walking to many things as we did not have to move our car for the three days. A highly sophisticated staff, friendly, helpful , happy and great
The hotel is old. The lobby and room were filthy and stinky. Old flat dirty pillows. Stains on walls and carpet
With tons of charm and a big heap of things to do, Victoria, British Columbia, is not to be missed. Between days spent kayaking or exploring the sites, a visit to this oceanside town is a must. Make your trip easier on your budget with a stay at a Victoria 2-star hotel.
While you may be in the capital city, don’t think that you have to spend a lot of capital to explore the area. There are several free or inexpensive things to do in town.
One of the most popular activities in Victoria is completely free: walking The Causeway. This pedestrian walkway navigates the Inner Harbour area, where you can spot the historic Parliament Buildings, the city skyline, and the boats swaying in the waves. Keep those walking feet going all the way to the oldest Chinatown in Canada. The murals are legendary, as is Fan Tan Alley, a narrow street that enjoyed infamy as the heart of Victoria’s underworld during the 19th century.
If you’re visiting in summer, another popular and free activity is heading to the beach. There are a number of favourite areas, though you’ll find most of the locals hanging out at Elk and Beaver Lake Regional Park, Matheson Lake, and Thetis Lake Regional Park. Just jump right in!
To wash off, head to your Victoria 2-star hotel. Enjoy all the amenities you deserve on a vacation, like cozy beds, modern showers, and great views of the city. And don’t worry about the price; book right here on Expedia.ca to find the steepest discounts on hotels in Victoria, including deals on 2-star hotels.
