Email communication was prompt and on the ground service was the best we have received in Europe. The hotel location on the water was safe and convenient short walk to main tourist sites. "This is a wonderful hotel. A renovated old palazzo, our room (preferred category) was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows with a view over the rooftops. Bathroom is comfortable and modern with a great shower! Breakfast is copious with eggs, bacon and cappuccino included in the price. We were served every morning by Mima, a delightful young server who took great care of us. We even had a quick lunch in the garden on our last day and found the food to be excellent. Location is perfect....
