This place is a total scam. I was attracted by the picture of its terrace overlooking the canal. When I checked in I was told it’s closed. No prior notification given. I asked if they can upgrade my room to a canal view, but they said they were full. However, I checked Expedia and they still had plenty of canal view rooms available. The worst part is the room they gave me. Not only the window was completely facing a wall, but also an annoying and disturbing sound kept coming out from its walls. I had several nightmares that night and had to use earplugs. Absolutely the worst stay experience in my life

A bit hard to believe that hotel has 4 star. So old and weird. Plus awful breakfast. I was bad idea to pay for breakfast. The view on canal is beautiful. We had beautiful view but without proper ac system in the room. It was so cold on 30•C, we slept in the clothes. And I never saw that someone can enter the room to check what we took from the mini bar on the early morning. She went inside while I was pumping milk on the bed. So weird. Only ok to stay in this hotel if u don’t have any other options

Great Location on The Grande Canal
Second stay at this hotel. Lovely people and great location, close to train and us station but right on the Grand Canal. Rooms are large and comfortable and all services are great. Breakfast buffet is excellent and available until 10.30. Some areas of décor are a little tired but this is reflected in the price. Also, they are updating rooms and the new ones are much better from a comfort and technology perspective. Will definitely stay again.
