"We had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Riviera Maya! The staff was great, everyone was extremely quick to give us great service and met all of our needs well! The employees made sure we had a great time! The one down side was the food. It was not terrible, just really subpar. Breakfast and lunch were decent. It was all tolerable but we found ourselves traveling off the resort to get dinner. "

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. Last year was better. I don’t know if last year we got a renovated room but in general the condition of the room wasn’t as good as last time. The tub was stain and old. I noticed a mold odor in the bed I thought it was the linens so i have them change them and still. I am not sure if itl was the mattress or perhaps the pillows. "This resort was amazing. I would stay here again. The swim out room was lovely. The food was decent and so were the drinks. The activities were fun. The only complain would be the seaweed at the beach, its so much seaweed that it stinks but we were told the sister beach next door, which we had access to had a better beach but we just stayed at the pool. Overall, excellent experience. "
