Michigan Hotels

This was by far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.

We had a great time visiting - the front desk staff were very helpful with directions to different parts of the city. The valet parking attendent - James was great. He told us all about what we should go and see - great customer service!

Food is fantastic. Had the breakfast buffet, which couldn't be better. Came back for supper and was fantastic. View is awesome too. Parking was plentiful.

I was very pleased with the hotel stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is dated, however the decor appeared to be recently redone in modern taste. The hotel is right on the water and has a small beach and a beautiful view. It was a perfect location for our short stay. Located right on the main highway and very close to the downtown. Overall, I was pleased with our short stay and would book again if passing through.

We had a lot of shopping to do and its location was perfect for both that and dining out.

We took our Grandchildren for 2 days and they had a great time and so did we. I had brought some food for lunches as we did not want leave the hotel for the 1 whole day. The night we arrived we got ready for the pool area and decided to eat at the snack counter they have. That was the biggest disappointment "THE FOOD". Prices were not bad but the food tasted like crap. Spoke with someone I knew who ate in the restaurant and the chicken parmasen was horrible. When looking at the menu for dinner the day we were staying at the hotel that would have been our choice. So we ended up going out for piazza. Piazza hut and MacDonalds right there so I guess they get the business. The parents are having a few drinks and relaxing with their families and friends and have to go out for meals which is not very safe or order in. The lodge is really missing the boat by not have decent food. I guess they make all their money on the majic wands as every child was running around on their quest. Everthing else was great. The pool area very safe and lots of activities.

My wife and I have stayed at the Sheraton in Ann Arbor on several occasions. Having two children studying at the University of Michigan leads us to be in Ann Arbor several times each year. We find the hotel, its rooms, and its facilities very comfortable and appealing. Also its location works very well for us in that it is near to a large shopping mall and close to the U of M campus and downtown Ann Arbor. We have stayed in many hotels in Ann Arbor and this is as good or better than any of them.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was very good also. Only downside was that in the morning, hotel cleaning staffs use same elevators as customers, so the elevators were always full of carts and hotel stuffs.
