"Nice enough"
Clean, great towels but in need of facility updates as furniture is out of date & well used. Poor vanity placement & lighting over sink was horrible. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was ok - could have used some fruit &/or yogurt

"Would stay here again"
Check in was efficient. Nice gal at counter. Room was clean and comfortable. This seems like an ideal place for the family, with a playground out front to occupy the kids while you check in (or out). In fact, several families were on premises when my girlfriend and I stayed there. That made breakfast a zoo, but the rooms were quiet.

"Nice hotel with excellent staff!"
I was greeted excellent from the staff at the desk to the bartender. The room was small and comfortable. It had a great view of the pool. The only thing the staff couldn't help with was my slipping down their icy parking lot.

"Centered between US 41 and Washington in Marquette"
Nice hotel. Standard room us that. Standard. Small room. For $127 I expected more space. Pool is 8ft and the hot tub next to the pool was nice. Sauna only got up to 160° after 20 mins, which is unfortunate. Slightly over priced, but great location.

remodeling was going o on the first floor, but did not interfere with my stay at all. Even the construction was very nice. There was always someone available to help or answer questions, and they would even go out of there way to find information for me. This is my hotel of choice in Marquette as I will be traveling there at least 2 to 3 times a year for the next 3 to 4 years.

"Ok "
Driveway from the highway not easy to access. Second floor rooms ((which is what we had) were brutal for 80 somethings. Shampoo, bodywash, soap were scarce. Breakfast was restaurant next door, with three choices. Staff there was very pleasant. However, Expedia mixed up the reservations, somewhat and it was a hassle to straghten out.

    Marquette Hotel Guide

Although this area of Michigan was inhabited by fur traders and missionaries as early as the 1800s, Marquette, MI did not become a working settlement until after iron was discovered in 1844. The iron mining made Marquette quite successful, and the town capitalized on this wealth by advertising itself as a vacation destination in the early 1900s. Its location on the Great Lakes made it a natural stop for passenger ships, which often let off crowds of visitors during the summer.
