Hawaii Island Adventure Vacations

Aston Kona by the Sea was probably the best place my family and I ever stayed, and we travel a lot! We splurged on an ocean-view room and were literally a stone's throw from the ocean. The view was spectacular and it was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing outside our room! However, everything about this place was superlative. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The location was central to the activities that we planned, and not very far from restaurants and shopping. This place was an excellent value and we will surely look to stay here when we return to the Big Island!

The property was gorgeous with flowers, plants, trees. Lots of birds. Our unit was clean, comfy and spacious. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. You do pay extra for air conditioning but we knew that ahead of time. The property has 3 pools, one is right on the ocean with terrific sunsets! The property is located in a neighborhood that is quiet. There is a strip mall within walking distance with a few stores, restaurants, book store, coffee shop, movie theater. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Warm and friendly staff. Water fillers in numerous locations, which was very convenient. Water bottles provided. Snorkeling was wonderful on property. The pool was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained and luscious. Food at the pool was delicious. Breakfast buffet was OK. Balcony lounge food could be improved.

Great hotel with wonderful pools and beach. Wish there were more restaurant options and more free chairs on the beach, but besides that.... It was awesome.

We had a great experience from check in through check out. Our room was upgraded at check in to a room with an ocean view and we were given fresh lei’s. Our room key was in the form of a waterproof bracelet so we didn’t have to worry about carrying a card with us. The resort was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and had wonderful service poolside. What we didn’t expect was how great the snorkeling was off the beach that is about a 10 minute walk from property. We had dinner at the restaurant on their property, the Canoe House. We reserved a table there well in advance and was the original reason we decided to stay at this resort. The head chef was the winner of the most recent season of Top Chef. The staff was helpful throughout the stay. Whenever we looked like we needed help, one of the staff would stop and give us information. They offered both self and valet parking. We chose self park because we wanted easy access to our car and it was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again on another trip to the big island.

Went there everything is beautiful but the most amazing thing is the people!!!!!

Clean beautiful room great everything honestly very friendly people/staff. They offer rides from the garage if they’re passing. The walk is not bad if not. Great balcony multiple pools. When I come back im coming here!
