The place is in a good area , close to the beach stores a restaurants . The room is a little dated , clean in the inside but the balcony was dirty you don’t even want to touch anything . A good view of diamond head on one side and all clutter when you look at your room windows . Staff were nice and check in was smooth .

The staff were very friendly to our requests and concerns. The housekeeping particularly Kelly was very diligent in cleaning our room on a regular basis. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back here with my family.

My stay at Alohilani was ok. There are some clear pros and cons. Pros first, the location and view were excellent. Concierge and valet are great, very prompt and helpful. The food and service at Swell was enjoyable also. Cons, the halls smell strongly of mildew. The pool area leaves a lot to be desired; you must be in the pool to see the view. The room is cramped with very little counter space. The bathroom has a strange setup, shower in the corner with a small wall and no shower curtain. Water gets all over the floor when showering. The showerhead was dirty and the seat was in terrible shape. The no smoking policy is over the top, we were told we could not even light birthday candles as it may set off the sensors. The price of daily valet along with all the taxes and fees ended up being nearly $500 additional. I would not stay here again, the price does not match the experience.

The room was excellent and quite a fun view, the staff was very kind and there's always someone at the front desk!

This was a last minute reservation as the original stay got cancelled. Overall it met our needs. When the listing said Murphy bed I assumed it meant second bed but it was the only bed. When down it makes the room more crowded than a regular hotel room. The shower valve was broken and they tried a quick fix which didn’t work so we could not shower. The Internet was up and down and would work on some devices but not others. On the plus side the AC kept the room comfortable and the kitchenette was well stocked and met our needs. Staff was pleasant and friendly but could not do anything to resolve the issues with the room during our two night stay.

Where to begin! As soon as we entered the hotel, Maile greeted us with such a friendly and warm aloha! Maile and Sean were super resourceful, knowledgeable, and all around great people to converse with! They took care of our family and friends and were so friendly! Jorge, a newer front desk agent, brought the same energy and he is a great addition! The room itself exceeded my expectations when choosing a budget hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and loved that the hotel is constantly getting worked on! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was a wonderful guy who was working hard on improving his property! We stayed for 12 days and I’m very happy with our trip here.

Friendly staff, walking distance to the beach. Flat rate for parking would be ideal.
