Beautiful and well maintained all around. Elevators are a bit warm as they are not air conditioned, but the room was wonderful.

For a four star hotel... the pool in particular was run down. There are traffic cones around the pool deck, spots where the tiles in the pool are chipped, and the handrail into the hot tub is wobbly.
On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed doing the yoga on the beach that is included in the resort fee.

The only thing i didnt like is that they charge for the shuttle from and to the nearest shopping center $5 each way per person, i think a resort in this category should provide shuttle either free or less amount for their guests !

Overall, the Grand Wailea is a great hotel, however, as a guest you feel like you’re just a cog in the machine. We had a great time, but never felt that over the top service / experience that you would expect for a hotel with the reputation that it has / costs as much as it does

The hotel rooms need a refresher for the amount they charge. Food at the pool is poor. The upscale restaurants are very good. Staff is friendly and my wife said the spa massage was very good. Paid $22 for a premium margarita and was given slushed iced water. Location is probably one of the best on the island. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.
Go out to Koloa for food and drinks.
