Two blocks from the walking mall, Shenandoah University 5 min , Winchester Medical 5 min. Skyline Drive 30 min D.C. 1.5 hrs. The Blue Door offers a great affordable spot for two. We did not get check in information, though the host provided it directly on hour after check-in time.The host needs to check in with the cleaners and visit the property. I say this as a landlord. We had one washcloth for two guests, no coffee or tea service, no tissues, no dish rag. The place looks a little run down and needs a refresh. Doors were broken, bathroom racks about to fall off the wall, and one soap dispenser was broken.I would recommend the property if these matters were addressed for a longer-term stay because of the location and excellent kitchen. We will stay elsewhere in Winchester next time, as the price is high for what you get. ##### Joe E.
