Parking is free for one or multiple vehicles. You can walk to the brand new Potomac Yard Metro Station in 15 minutes. House is decorated with modern furniture from Denmark and Sweden. Barbecue and relax on private back deck area or walk a short distance to a playground or a dog park. Great restaurants and shops are also just a short walk from the house. Messaging The house is located in the northern part of DelRay which is part of Alexandria. There are wonderful restaurants along Mount Vernon Avenue which is either a short walk or drive from the house. For families with young children, there is a very nice play area very close to the house on the other side of the street. For guests who bring a dog(s), there is a large and very friendly dog park down the street. The house has an August smart lock. There is also a key lockbox on the front door for those who just want to use a key. The house is located only a 8 minute car ride from National Airport and 10 minutes from DC. The gorgeous, brand new Potomac Yard Metro Station is only 0.8 miles away or a 15 minute walk or 4 minute Uber ride. Mark was great at communicating with us and reached out several times. However I think cleanliness is a slight issue. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned. The bathroom trash was full, the toilet seat was a bit dirty and the shower curtain needed to be washed as well. There was also hair on the pillows and sheets of one of the main bedrooms. We walked to dinner in the neighborhood and walked the dogs to the park, and walked to the metro to take in the sites, museums, and even a caps game. Close to the airport and a huge shopping center. We recommend the District Biscuit company...very yummy and close by. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and theres a great park nearby for dmall children to play. We had some things we wanted to do in Arlington, Alexandria and the National Harbor area. We also thought we might go into DC, but didn't end up doing so. This home was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do. The landlord is friendly and helpful. The property is safe and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay and we all were sad to leave. It's just much smaller than it looks on line. The 2 full bathrooms are not modern but clean. Just 20 minutes from downtown DC. One of the bedrooms is extremely small and there is no bathroom on the main floor. We walked to a few restaurants which was convenient and very convenient to DC sightseeing. We were only there for two nights then headed to MD to see family. Our stay was good. The coffee selection (& Setup) was awesome, nice touch Mark. We spent most of the time outside the house in DC but when we got back, we were comfortable. We only used four of the five bedrooms.
