Lugano city is within easy reach too, just 19 minutes drive/ bus ride away. Das Haus an sich ist sehr schön, hat aber mängel in der Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung. Treppe zum Steg (Bild nicht aktuell, Plastiksteg) verrostet und sehr wackelig. Steg ist kein Holzsteg sondern ein Plasitksteg. Er ist in Ordnung aber es wird nicht auf den Fotos aufgezeigt. Eine Steinbank ist am Ende gebrochen. Kaputte Kajaks liegen aufgestapelt auf der Terasse herum. Um zusammenzufassen: Das Haus ist schön Sauberkeit ist mangelhaft Lage ist schön Fotos nicht aktuell ##### Amin B. Pros: Good check-in process Good lake access to drop SUP's and Windsurfing boards Boat rental 5 minute walk away City of Perlozza very close with a great windsurfing school for kids and nice little restaurants. Close access to supermarket in Perlozza Excellent mattresses, likely the best I had in a vacation home. Nice restaurant across the street Cons: The house is right on the main street, expected for a lake house on an italian lake but there is no parking as the lot is disputed with a condominum house next door, within 5 minutes we were told to leave. The public parking is 50meters away but oftentimes completely full due to the restaurant and one day I waited 30 minutes for a spot and the walk to the public parking is dangerous if traveling with small kids. The deck is falling apart, the house has many cosmetic defects and it badly needs TLC by a gardener. One bedroom is shared with another, ok with family, romantic couples beware. The biggest negative is the advertised Wifi. If all you do is check your email and dont mind waiting 5 minutes for your mails to load - great. I was reminded of my dialup internet connection in 1993\. Also only middle eastern TV channels so we missed out on Wimbeldon and the EURO's. Finally cleanliness is not superb. The house is a mixed bag, If management could fix the cosmetic defects, Wifi for those of us who have to still get work done while vacationing and restore the deck this can be a great place. We vacationed with another couple and there were 4 bedrooms-2 upstairs, 2 down, so each couple had perfect privacy. The property is located right on Lake Lugano. We came up from Milan, passed through the city of Lugano, Switzerland and the property is about 10-15 minutes from the city center of Lugano but you cross a border back into Italy. The parking is a little imposing-especially pulling back out onto the road-it is a main street and you have to be very careful pulling out. The villa itself was lovely-great views of the lake. We loved the outside living area overlooking the lake. We cooked dinner there every night-the kitchen was very nice (but needs better cutlery-there was not a decent bread knife) -the living space was perfect for the 4 of us. The location was ideal. We made the mistake of going to Lugano for groceries the first day (Switzerland is very expensive). We later found that by turning right out of the driveway, there was a wonderful 24 hour grocery store not more than 15 minutes away that had everything and great prices. Continue along this road (about 25-30 minutes from the villa) and you descend right into the town of Menaggio, which is the center of Lake Come and can take a ferry to Varenna or Bellagio-ideal! The property was spotless. The pictures give an accurate reflection of the property. We had no need to contact the property owner (I think it was managed by a management company and not the owners)-we were given outstanding, detailed directions to get there. Overall, I rate this as an A property. We loved it. ##### David F.
