Huge windows overlooking a breathtaking view. This property is embellished with the popular Alaskan art of Rhonda Wegner Taylor. Guests enjoy being right next to skiing, sledding, walking and hiking trails within walking distance of downtown Valdez, shops, restaurants, museums, tours and much more. Wildlife is abundant right outside your door. Delicious baked goods make our continental breakfast something to look forward to.
Our B & B is very clean with classy amenities and is a safe place to stay in majestic Valdez.

The walk out basement apartment was tastefully decorated and we loved that it featured a local artist's work. The apartment was very clean and the views were beautiful with lots of natural light.On the downside there is no where to hang or put away your clothes. The main house's kitchen is right at the top of the stairs next to the bed and it was very noisy. We could easily hear their TV and the owners moving around above us. We were also disappointed not to be offered the breakfast as described in the listing.

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful setting to come back to each evening during our 4 night stay in Beautiful Valdez. This place made our trip! It was more affordable than the cabins we were looking at and the view was 100 times better. Our host even notified us of the northern lights which I thought was so sweet. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a very clean place with an excellent view! We felt very safe the entire time during our stay. A sweet neighbor was coming over with homemade jam for our hosts and was very friendly. So close to the harbor, restaurants, downtown museum, and convention center. Not a far drive to the hatchery where we saw lots of wildlife every day. Self check-in was easy. We enjoyed the birds by our bedroom window, even heard 2 different kind of owls on our Merlin app. The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick in response time. The snickerdoodle cookies were very yummy and we enjoyed the mango canned drinks too. Nice hosts with clear instructions. It was a peaceful stay. We'd stay there again if in the area.

I’ve stayed in Valdez a couple times and this was way better than the hotels there! First off it was super clean and cozy and quiet. We had everything we needed and we enjoyed the fresh baked bread! A wonderful stay.

Home away from home

We were warmly greeted by our host on arrival and instantly felt at home walking through the door. The rooms were clean, spacious and well furnished. Everything about it was lovely: the bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast and home made cake were a lovely touch and the view was to die for. We stayed three nights and if we didn’t already have plans, I would have stayed longer. Valdez is a pretty, quiet and relaxed place to spend time. I highly recommend Valdez and this property.

The views are lovely and the space is more than adequate, however, the noise from the Pressure Pump is extremely loud, breakfast is just packets of stuff to put in the microwave and if anyone moves around upstairs you can hear them easily.

This is a beautiful property well maintained well manicured and well supplied. The host has thought of everything from home baked goods to amenities that the guest may have forgotten. I enjoyed staying here and I would love to come back here.

It was good not great. This is a basement walkout and you could hear upstairs neighbor's footsteps (which makes us crazy). Worse, there was some kind of loud pump that runs every time you flush toilet or take shower. Very unpleasant grinding noise. Otherwise cute set-up. TV could have been larger
