Spread out over two floors, this vacation rental features a large, well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a wraparound breakfast bar, a dining table with seating for 12, a cozy living area with a comfortable sectional sofa and wall-to-wall windows, and an expansive, lower-level game room. The game room includes a variety of entertainment options including darts, shuffleboard, a pool table, and air hockey. Outside, you'll find a lower-level patio off the game room, a private hot tub, and an exquisitely furnished upper-level deck with a seating area, dining area, and gas grill. For sleeping arrangements, this home offers a master suite with a king-size bed, two guest rooms with plush queens, and a kid-friendly bedroom with four side-by-side twin beds. What's nearby: Just across the road, this unique gem includes 125 feet of waterfront property and tideland rights as well as a buoy that can accommodate boats up to 40 feet in length. A book with instructions would be a nice thing to have. And the covers for the outdoor furniture were all wet, so we couldn't sit out there, which was a bummer. Trying to contact the Vacasa property manager with questions was a bit difficult. We had to go to the Vacasa website and got stuck in a big loop. But that is NOT the property owners fault. Despite all that, the house was wonderful, comfy, cozy, and perfect for our stay. We would LOVE to come again. Hopefully, all those issues will be fixed by then. . ##### Samantha E. Beds were comfortable but lacking blankets and pillows for downstairs bedroom. Property Mgmt was super quick with responses and very accommodating. Unfortunately we were disappointed that there was only 1 wine glass, dishwasher was broken, dishes and silverware were not clean so had to use paper and plastic utensils or wash dishes by hand. Game room was also a let down since many of the games didn’t work. Need to fix this or take off their marketing. Driveway getting to property is very steep and cars can bottom out. Not a good area for walks. We were reimbursed for cleaning fees and our purchase of plastic cups which was much appreciated. ##### Erin L. We really enjoyed how big the house was- made a great rental for multiple families. The downstairs with all the games was so much fun for all the kids. The views on the balcony were just breathtaking. The location is really good and we felt central to a bunch of WA activities. An hour to a great hike in Olympic National Forest called staircase rapids- so worth it- an hour to Bremerton, 1.5 hours to Seattle. The road going up to the house is STEEP, and not super clear where the house is with GPS. Would recommend 4wd. The private beach across wasn’t really meant to hangout out, ok to take a quick walk to but would much more recommend a 5 min drive to the state park beach. With it being a pet friendly rental we would recommend some extra care with carpet cleaning inbetween guests- we could smell pet urine. Like previous reviews we had an issue with a tv working because of the remote. The air flow upstairs wasn’t great on hot days. Sep 1, 2024 #### Better than the pictures! beautiful, and huge! gorgeous location and a nice place to spend a few days. so much space - and SO many couches! great for when your mother in law is commenting on your parenting style...=P Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. beds were comfortable. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. so why only 4 stars? a few little inconveniences - one of the first issues was that we only had 2 rolls of toilet paper (for three bathrooms!), but they brought more the next morning (phew!), there were a few pet stains in the main bedroom, a couch spring was pushing out the back. and some of the games were not 100% (the basketball and air-hockey don't keep score), but the arcade cabinet was good. as other folks have mentioned, there seems to be a TV ghost- several times we'd be watching upstairs, and it would just turn off - no one messing with other tvs/remotes. all in all- a good place with just a few little hiccups. but we'd happily come again next summer! ##### Jaimi D. ### 8/10 Good #### shelly m. There is tons of room in this house so perfect for large gathering. It was clean and well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We were excited to play the games advertised in the list (a big part of the reason we rented this property) but most of them were broken or missing components (like the pucks for air hockey.) There is a local property manager who was very responsive and dropped us off batteries for the remotes that weren't working, but unfortunately wasn't able to fix the broken machines. Definitely not a deal breaker but something to be aware of if you're looking forward to the games. The property managers were unaware of this and unwilling to offer any compensation when we brought it up (even though the games are a huge part of the listing's key selling points.) ##### shelly m.
