Our family of 4 from the US stayed in June of 2024 and I would absolutely recommend the hotel. It’s in a quiet business district 5-10min walking distance from a few different subway stops. The room is pretty small (it’s Tokyo!) but it was well arranged and a great value. The main bed in our Family Superior room was a true king size, and the bunk beds were XL twins (my son who is 6’1” fit fine.) The mattresses were firm, which I like. It had a full kitchenette, and a toilet separate from the sink/shower which helps with 4 people getting ready in the morning. There are free packets of laundry detergent in the lobby for using the washer/dryer combo machine in the bathroom. Also- they are well set up for westerners- all the plugs in the room worked for US cords, and the shower head was adjustable so if you are over 6’ tall you can wash your hair. The front desk clerks are friendly and speak passable English. It is a 1 min walk to two convenience stores that both sell coffee and prepackaged breakfast options that were fun to try. Not much to do in the vicinity but there are some good ramen options for dinner about a 5 min walk (near the Daimon metro). I felt very safe here and the neighborhood was lovely despite being an urban center.

First time in Japan and can’t really compare it with other lodging experience. I really like the apartment amenities and bathroom. I had trouble adjusting heater due to language barrier other than that it is good.

We were very pleased with the room because it was equiped with everything we need from kitchen appliances/utensils to our own washer/dryer. The little dining space was really cozy that we prefer to have takeaway food on some nights! The location was perfect being surrounded by conbinis and just several minutes away to a subway and JR line station. The only downside would be that the bidet function in the toilet wasn’t working properly and that the hot water didn’t go as hot as other hotels I’ve been to in Osaka and Kyoto.
