The Antlers condominiums are in the heart of the ski village and among Steamboats most popular vacation properties. Amenities include a seasonal pool and hot tubs, open March to Thanksgiving. Take a 2-minute walk to the ski base and delicious restaurants, and enjoy a private winter shuttle to downtown and supermarkets. ABOUT THE HOUSE Casual elegant furnishings adorn this 4BR/4BA townhouse. In the living room, guests can sink into a leather love seat, sleeper sofa set, or a cushioned rocker to watch the 55” flat screen. The kitchen boasts gleaming granite countertops and high-end stainless-steel appliances, including a French-door SubZero fridge and Thermador gas range. Four barstools at the kitchen island offer a place for morning coffee and conversation. Gather for meals at the dining table with seating for eight. Step onto the private balcony, furnished with a table for four and a rocking chair, to take in views of the pool, bubbling hot tubs, and the ski slope. Upstairs, the master bedroom holds a king-size bed, a wall-mounted 55” flat screen TV, and an en-suite bath with double-sink vanity, walk-in shower, and opulent soaking tub. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds with cozy wool quilts, a 32” TV, and a walk-in closet. The third bedroom features two queen beds, and the fourth has a king bed plus an en-suite bath. Two additional full baths ensure theres plenty of space for everyone. Amenities include a washer/dryer and access to the complex’s steam room and ski lockers. The seasonal pool and hot tubs are open March to Thanksgiving. THE LOCATION This prime ski-in, ski-out location puts you just 2 minutes from the base of the mountain and numerous eateries. Cafe Diva serves new American cuisine and offers a stellar wine list, and T-Bar at Steamboat is a friendly place to wet your whistle. In warmer months, hike at Fish Creek Falls, or sink into Strawberry Park Hot Springs any time of year — both places are within a 4-mile drive of home. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The front desk was closed, there was no key in the lockbox, and everyone I called told me to call someone else. Luckily we found a key under the mat because it was 2 hours before someone showed up because of a “lock out”.Unfortunately, getting in the condo only lead to more problems. The condo had not been cleaned after the previous guests. Again, nothing but run around from the management company, so our girl’s getaway weekend started with having to do multiple loads of laundry and cleaning before we could even move in. They finally sent someone the next morning to clean and fix the refrigerator that wasn’t working. I will say that eventually they refunded most of the cost of the stay, but that didn’t really make up for the stress, frustration, and terrible customer service. ##### Lara S. The views out to the hillside, ski lifts and Outlaw roller coaster were amazing. The pool and hot tub were great fun for the kids and the grill was clean and easy to use. We did see a brown bear try to get into our truck-we left cliff bars in the door! He stood up and pulled the handle several times before giving up. Keep vehicles LOCKED ALWAYS! We were needing to leave to make an appointment and when I called the manger she immediately had a maintenance guy come up and scare the bear away. Two master suites with kings and, two bedrooms each with two twin beds. All 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom, which was great also. The bathroom to one of the bedrooms is the common bathroom for the unit, and is on the main floor. The other three bedrooms are on the upper floor. Your enter the unit from the second floor of the building. So, it is a three story building with a unit below this one. The balcony for the unit is directly above the pool, which made it nice for keeping an eye on those in for a swim. There are nice TVs in each room, and that made it easy to keep an eye on the Olympics. The crew in the ski valet was awesome and made it extra easy to get on the slopes. Your boots will be set out and ready to slip on, just call and tell them what time. Grab your skis and walk just a few steps before stepping into your bindings. Our one complaint we wanted to mention is the thermostats. None of them are calibrated correctly, but they all work. Some are way off, so if you set them at 70, and go to bed, you'll wake up in the desert. Seriously, the main room setpoint is about 10 degrees off actual. The others, 4-6\. We got in figured out after the first day. For Apres', the T-Bar is just next door to the unit and the Slopeside a very quick walk away. Walking down to the gondola square is a five minute walk. The shuttle to town was very responsive and typically there in just a few minutes. Usually not more than ten minutes even when you are calling from downtown. Except if it's Saturday night of Carnival weekend. That proved to be a bit of a challenge. But the City Bus stop is only a block away from the unit and that worked out well too. All in all, we couldn't have asked for much more. ##### Tracey S. Jul 13, 2022 #### Beautiful home away from home The condo was absolutely beautiful! It had the comfortable feel of home and the beds were super luxurious. The kitchen was very well equipped. The scenery around the condo was breathtaking. I highly recommend this vacation rental. Our family had so much fun. Oh also, lots of games provided for family fun time! ##### Shelley B. The functioning's were updated and well cared for. The beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of room for our whole party of 11\. Our stay was fantastic. The staff at The Antlers were very helpful and friendly and offered assistance whenever we asked. We'll definitely be putting this on our list as a must stay. ##### Gigi G. Easily fit 4 adults and 5 kids under 14\. Easy to ski in to the facility, then about a 30 foot walk to the ski valet in your boots which is on the bottom floor of the facility which is always staffed with great guys—Eric, Griffen, Ross and Kadim were amazing. They keep your skis and boots for you. You then walk up about 20 stairs to your home so you don’t ski to your door and then ski right out. Ski out requires going down to ski valet room to get your boots, which they will warm for you if you call before (great service!) and then you walk about 50 yards in snow up a slight grade to an area where you put your skis on and then ski to the Christy express lift or gondola. Jan 29, 2022 #### Ski-in, Ski-out from Excellent Location The rooms and condo living areas were excellent with a beautiful view of the ski area and mountains. The directions to use the fireplace (need to wiggle the switch) and Wi-Fi could be improved but the staff was amazingly quick and friendly to provide support.
