Mountain Lodge 188 features a kitchen that is larger than most 1-bedroom units and has additional kitchen cabinets and countertops. It comes with a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal. Within the space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the magical Snowshoe mountain top village to peruse its numerous shopping and dining options. As you’re enjoying a cup of tea, coffee, a glass of wine, or a good book from the living room, you can take in the natural landscape and gorgeous views right outside your window! You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy. ● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. But, please, no parties in the condo. ● Free bus shuttles are available from the Village to Top of the Mountain, and to Silver Creek for night skiing. Reach the Western Territory by way of the Silver Creek shuttle. ● If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other condos in the Snowshoe Mountain Resort. PETS: We absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you. Unfortunately, Mountain Lodge does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk. EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5:00 PM. It is imperative that you move your vehicle(s) out of the Mountain Lodge parking lot immediately following check-out, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate vehicles of incoming Guests in addition to those of departing Guests. The email Tim sends with read first, layout of lodge, map of village, grocery store, where to pick up lift tickets and restaurants is FANTASTIC! The room is the farthest from the mountain axis but very close to the door for parking lot for unload/load(cars are sparse you can get close at that end). Although we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness. Hair in bathroom and many pots and pans weren't properly cleaned. There is a pull out sofa and a queen bed and plenty of room for a twin air mattress at the end of the pull out sofa. There is plenty of cabinet space and the kitchen was well stocked. Things are dated, but so is the whole building , so no big deal there. The dishwasher works amazingly! The water is hot. The AC isnt the greatest but it works, and how long are you actually in the room during the day? Not much when this mountain is awesome to explore.
