If you’d rather avoid mountain drives altogether, a hotel in town may be a better fit. ⚠️ Notes for Guests Hot Tub: Maintained regularly, but like any mechanical feature, breakdowns may happen. We decided to take a family vacation during Thanksgiving week. We needed to bring our dogs so we looked for a pet friendly cabin and also looked for a cabin that had great scenery. Everything was perfect, from the climb up the mountain to get to the cabin, the hot tub, and porch area to sit and enjoy the view. The issue I had was to drive up to the cabin, its a one lane road and when there is oncoming cars its very dangerous. There were multiple instances where I encountered other cars and it made for a scary drive. The hill in the driveway up to the cabin is also trecherous and i really thought my rav4 was going to give out trying to get up it. I see in the listing that the host mentions the driving situation but let me tell you its much more intense in real time.
