The staff stood out for their friendliness and quick responsiveness—they were always ready to help and made us feel so welcome. One of the big highlights was the private secured parking, which gave us peace of mind knowing our car was safe and conveniently accessible. The self-check-in option was also a bonus, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free. Kanes Hotel truly made our stay in Sarandë feel special, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Couldn’t even use it. Balconies looked extremely unsafe and cracked. Air-conditioning did not work, rooms were dirty. Toilet seat broken had to leave your car keys in reception with nobody looking after them on the desk. Breakfast was not included so we decided to buy breakfast as we were told at reception it was €6.50 each. When we were presented with the breakfast bill it was for €25 for 2 of us. When we queried this we were told that it was because we also asked for orange juice & coffee & that they were not included in the price. Whilst we were happy to pay for an 'additional' coffee we were not aware that a drink was not included with breakfast. To be fair to the manager he did refund us €9 because of the 'misunderstanding'. Just be aware if travelling to this hotel to make sure you understand what is included and what you will be charged for. ##### Rebecca Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### oliver Aug 23, 2018 #### Hotel in Strandnähe Hotel in Strandnähe (5 min) über Treppen zu erreichen, ziemlich laut zu jeder Tages- und Abendzeit, da die SH8 (Durchgangsstraße) hier gelegen ist und es auch häufig zu Staus kommt. Komfort im Hotel o.k., immer wieder gab es zu wenig Handtücher, man musste öfter nachfragen. Liegekomfort in unserem Zimmer eher unterdurchnschnittlich ( 2 übereinandergelegte Matratzen). Ich weiß nicht, ob es in anderen Zimmern besser war. Frühstück o.k., Kaffee eher unterdurchschnittlich. Rezeption im Allgemeinen sehr bemüht. Swimmingpool auf dem Dach des Hotels, sehr nett, schöne Aussicht auf Korfu und den Ort. Zwei oder drei Sonnenschirme mehr, würden hier den Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse noch angenehmer machen. Netter Ort, freundliche Dienstleister (Restaurants, Geschäfte), keine Belästigungen durch Souvenierverkäufer o.ä. Restaurants günstig, Bademöglichkeiten gut, aber steiniger Strand, man sollte Badeschuhe nutzen. Der Strand in Hotelnähe ist schon früh am Morgen gut frequentiert, aber man fand immer ein Plätzchen. Leihwagenfirmen vor Ort - es empfiehlt sich für Ausflüge ein Leihfahrzeug zu organisieren, so können schöne Ausflüge nach Butrint, Blue Eye und Gjirokastra oder auch Korfu unternommen werden - ganz tolle Gegenden. Man kann natürlich auch auf Busse oder Taxis zurückgreifen. From the beginning we had issues. First they couldn’t find our booking, when they finally did they didn’t see the payment we did, we had to go to our bank statement to show the we actually paid. We got a room on floor -2 which technically is 1st floor but it felt like a dungeon. We were greeted by a lovely mold on the wall!! Bathroom was awful, shower curtain dirty, so much hair on the floor and ants in the sink!! balcony is small and the view was disturbed by tree branches that had old dirty towels hanging from, plus other garbage!! The only plus is the swimming pool on the roof with a gorgeous view. This is second and last time we stayed here. Wir wissen bis heute nicht, was es war. Hellhörig, aus dem Nachbarzimmer hat man alles gehört, erst recht morgens viertel 4, erst \*\*\*, dann duschen, dann laute Musik. Gebucht nur und ausschließlich wegen dem tollen Pool, der absolut nicht nutzbar war. Keine Pumpe an, richtig ekelig selbst bei Dunkelheit zu erkennen. Auf Nachfrage, keine Ahnung, was gemeint sein könnte und auch kein Interesse, es sich anzuschauen.
