Upon arrival we were very appreciative of the garage, as it was raining that evening, and it was great to be able to unpack the vehicles inside. The view of the river from the deck was great. We did not spend a lot of time at the house, as we were visiting relatives in the area, but that would have been a very nice place to relax and unwind at the end of the day for anyone that would be spending more of their time at the home. The house was beautiful and provided a very relaxing environment for my family and me. It was clean and tidy when we arrived, beautifully decorated and provided all of the basic amenities that we needed for a family of seven. The house was very spacious compared to being cramped into two hotel rooms for 7 days and enjoyed by all. It provided a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere on the Illinois River. My granddaughters loved watching the barges going up and down the river. Mr. Jason was an awesome host. He was easy to contact when needed and provided excellent customer service. The barge traffic was fascinating for our grandchildren and us. Nice having a garage to park in and the bumper pool table, ping pong, and darts got a good workout. Lots of great activities a short drive away. We also enjoyed the large great room for dining, playing games, and chilling on the couch with a good movie. Would highly recommend. ##### Sandy C.
