Guest Access: Although self-check-in is available, all adult guests must provide a copy of their ID before arrival, to be granted access to the property on the day of check-in. All guests and visitors must be registered with their IDs at least 24 hours before check-in. The Neighborhood: La Roma is a vibrant and trendy neighborhood located in the heart of Mexico City. It’s part of the Cuauhtémoc borough and is known for its bohemian atmosphere, tree-lined streets, beautiful architecture, and a wide range of cultural and gastronomic offerings. La Roma has a rich history, dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it was developed as an upscale residential area for the city's elite. Within a short walk, you can also enjoy arts, culture, parks, museums, shopping, and nightlife. Getting Around: The property is approximately 11 km to/from the Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez (MEX). Some options for transportation are: \- Taxi: Look for the authorized taxi stands inside the airport terminal. These taxis are safe and regulated. Ensure you agree on the fare with the driver before starting the journey. It's generally a good idea to have some local currency (Mexican Pesos) on hand to pay for the taxi ride. \- Private Car Service: Many private car services and rideshare companies operate in Mexico City. It had all the amenities we needed including a water purifier. The 24 hour security was great. We felt safe and the apartment is in a great location with restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The apartment was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood was quiet. The concierges were friendly and available to let us in and out of the apartment. The location was a 30 minute taxi ride to Coyuocan and the Historic Area. There were several parks to explore and shopping was close by.
