Holly Tree Retreat Located In Beautiful Luray, VA

Welcome to Holly Tree Retreat located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, nestled between the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountains in Luray, VA. We're within walking distance of Cooter's, 10 minutes away from everything that downtown Luray has to offer with restaurants, brewery, theater, shopping and live entertainment. Holly Tree Retreat is just minutes away from Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, Shenandoah River, George Washington National Forest and Skyline Drive.
The space
Holly Tree Retreat is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage that has been totally renovated and newly furnished with everything that will make your stay the best that it can be. It has a fully stocked kitchen that includes all new major appliances. The master bedroom and dining room lead to the back deck for lounging or you can relax in our 4 person hot tub that boasts a majestic view of the Massanutten Mountains. If you'd rather spend a romantic night in, you can watch a movie on the 60" TV or read a book in front of our cozy gas log fireplace. You could also have a family night of playing board games too. Satellite and high speed internet/wifi access is also provided. If you're looking for things to do outside, then there is plenty of hiking, fishing, biking and kayaking opportunities nearby.

Holly Tree Retreat has a large back deck with patio furniture and a gas grill for grilling outside. There is also a fire pit in the back yard as well. You can take a selfie as you sit under our 30' tall holly tree on the "selfie bench" and use the beautiful Strickler's Knob located on top of the Massenutten Mountains as your backdrop. FYI, there is a POND on the property!

Perfect Hiking Retreat

This house was amazing and so thoughtfully appointed. I even loved the coffee mugs! Very clean, well kept, super comfortable beds. Our kids were even marveling at how great it was. And you can’t beat the view from the fire pit + hot tub. Can’t wait to come back.

Wow!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The view from the back yard was spectacular. The beds were firm but comfortable, plenty of towels in the bathroom including soap shampoo and conditioner. Every utensil you need in the kitchen. Hot tub was nice, fireplace was nice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for having us!

Fantastic stay!

This house is so cute, comfy and great! The house was super clean, beds were nicely made and very comfortable. They paid attention to so many details, like a very informative notebook about the house, appliances and info for the area. Kitchen was totally stocked for cooking, coffee was great for the morning. There are so many towels, and nice big towels for the hot tub. Also shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus travel sized toothpaste, lotion and shampoo just in case! Nothing can beat the gorgeous sunset we saw while sitting in the hot tub. The view was gorgeous! And the fire pit area was a fun place too! We loved this place and will definitely go back! And the owners are so great at communicating! You should definitely stay here!!

Beautiful cottage

This property was amazing! Was even more beautiful then the pictures! They literally thought Of everything you would need for stay! we went to Walmart witch was only 6 minutes away& stocked up with food. The owners had everything you need for cooking inside & grilling out! We loved our stay & just couldn’t believe how much stuff was there for our stay! Loved sitting on the deck, and out by the fire pit & also the hot tub. They literally thought of everything!!! The oweners kept us informed from the start to finish! Even let us check in early! They where very nice! The best place we have ever stayed at the world! Yes I said the world! We will definitely be back! Definitely recommend this place! Was also a very quiet and peaceful!

We had the absolute best stay!! We came to visit the Luray Caverns and this spot was perfect for our family. The view is stunning and the house has everything we needed! Awesomeness

The experience was for my elderly mother who enjoyed her stay and wanted to take the home with her when she left. I would book this again in a minute, HAPPY BIRTHDAY mom!
