The house is located between the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse and the Forêt de Rambouillet. The station in direction to Paris (45mm train), Versailles (27mm train) and Rambouillet (9mm train) is 5 mins walk. Disneyland Paris is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by car. The house consists of 5 bedrooms, one with its private bathroom, another bedroom with a shower and 2 shower cabins as well as 3 toilets. There is also a terrace and small garden which is accessed through the living room or through the separate kitchen which is fully equipped and furnished; dishwasher, oven, induction hob, American fridge, coffee machine (Nespresso), washing machine, ironing board, steam iron, linens provided except bed linen (optional 50 euros) garden table and chairs, television, stereo, internet, wifi. Free parking. Evening not allowed. Compulsory fixed cleaning (€ 80) There are a lot of things to see and visit around; castles, museums, forest walks, animal parks, gourmet restaurants, snail farming (!) and even a sandy beach at the edge of a lake for summer fun at the Étang d'Hollande! (13mm by car) (In English) A spacious 160m2, 3 level house located in the center of the village with all amenities close nearby; supermarket, butcher, 2 bakeries and an awesome vast regional bike path all within 300 m. The house is located between the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse and the Rambouillet forest. It’s only a 7 mm walk to the train station, which serves; to Paris (45mm train), Versailles (27mm train) and Rambouillet (9mm train). Disneyland Paris is approx. 1-hour 20mm away. The house consists of 5 bedrooms (master with its own bathroom), one bedroom with private shower plus 2 other separate shower cubicles and 3 individual toilets. There is also a terrace and small garden that is accessed through the living room or the separate kitchen which is fully equipped and fitted out; dishwasher, oven, induction hob, American fridge, coffee machine (Nespresso), washing machine, ironing board, steam iron, towels provided. Bed linen is optional and can be provided at an additional cost of € 50\. There is a large garden table and chairs, television, stereo, internet, wifi. Free parking. Loud parties not allowed. Flat-rate cleaning (€ 80) There are many things to see and visit nearby; castles, museums, forests, animal parks, great French restaurants, a snail farm (!) and even lake with a sand beach to swim in the summer nearby at the Etang d'Hollande! Close enough to the capital (by train or car) to allow for as many day trips as you want, and far enough so that you can enjoy outdoor walks in trails rather than city streets. The has is extremely well equipped and has everything you may need, including an adorable, professionally designed backyard. Aoua and Don are extremely nice hosts. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely private back garden, drinking coffee and nibbling on croissants from the bakery across the street. Grocery store only a couple of minutes walk away On the week before the ride we comfortably had a total of ten people staying here. The house was clean and comfortable and the hosts were fantastic. Before we arrived they answered several questions about the train systems. We arrived by train just as a thunderstorm was arriving and Donald met us at the train station with umbrellas. He was able to drive our luggage and my mother-in-law (who has a harder time walking) to the house. They showed us around the house and made sure we knew how to use everything. The home is close to the train station. And there is a grocery store and several restaurants close by. When we arrived at the property after a long journey from the US we were pleasantly surprised by the space and comfort. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. We did appreciate the cute little garden and terrace which really gave a homey feel to our stay. Bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. All needed stores and a covered market just at a few minutes’ walk away, and the proximity of the train station made our stay and visiting the area easy without having to always use the car: a plus in this region. Definitely recommend! Cette propriété est vraiment agréable et je trouve que les photos ne lui rendent pas justice. Elle est calme, bien située proche de toutes commodités et de la gare, ce qui est idéal pour faire ses courses et visiter la région sans avoir à prendre la voiture. Nous étions jusqu'à 10 de 7 mois à 89 ans et avions assez de place pour tous. La chambre au rdc était tres appréciable mais des barres de maintien dans les wc et la douche auraient ete bien.
