### Modern Apartment (WI-FI 50Mbps) Entire 1st floor

Clean, modern, spacious apartment in excellent location. Within walking distance of shops/restaurants, the castle, the old town, the fruit and veg market, the town centre and only 50m from the bus station so you can easily hop on a bus to the beach, or explore further.   
  
FREE PICK-UP FROM/TO KALAMATA AIRPORT (Athens Airport transfers can be arranged if needed)  
  
This spacious 100m² apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It's fully-equipped with modern furnishings, making it a real home-from-home. The open-plan design of the lounge, dining room and kitchen means there is plenty of space to move around and the large balcony doors ensure a bright atmosphere throughout.  
In the lounge there is a large corner sofa, which makes up into a double bed, and a separate 2-seater. There is a 40" flat-screen television and home-cinema system for your entertainment. (There are also plenty of board games and DVDs to keep everyone amused). In winter, the wood burning fire is great for cosy nights in (please request firewood for small extra fee) but there is also an air conditioning unit in the lounge. There is a large dining table with six stylish chairs, and also another table and chairs in the kitchen which is ideal for breakfasts. If you don't feel like eating out, the roomy kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, gadgets and dry ingredients needed to make any meal.  
Both bedrooms have king size beds and matching bedside cabinets, and there is also an extra television in one of them. There are air conditioning units in both bedrooms.   
The main bathroom has a bath/shower and there is also an extra toilet with a washbasin.  
Balconies run along both the front and back of the apartment, keeping it cool even in the hot summer months. The back balcony offers a small marble table and chairs for outdoors dining.   
As a courtesy to future guests, we ask that you only smoke out on the balconies and not in the apartment itself.  
  
The neighbourhood is clean and quiet, with plenty of parking space and what's more the apartment is ideally situated, making it convenient even for those who don't have the use of a car. The entire town can be reached on foot, and the nearby bus station offers both regular, local services to the seafront/Kalamata Airport and a network of routes which enables visitors to discover the rest of Greece.  
  
We want your stay in Kalamata to be really enjoyable, so if there's anything we can do to help out in some way then please don't think twice about asking.  
  
Kalamata is still relatively undiscovered as a tourist destination, but that doesn't mean it is lacking in anything a visitor could desire. The fact that most visitors to Kalamata are Greek means that there is still a certain authenticity to the place. Apart from the wonderful beaches throughout the area, various archaeological sites, waterfalls, gorges and caves can easily be reached by car. (We would be more than happy to offer any further information you need on any of these places - just ask).  
  
The town of Kalamata itself has plenty to offer without being over-developed. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, ranging from no-frills tavernas to 5-star hotel restaurants. And if you're looking for nightlife, there are plenty of places open til the early hours. The local cinema has all the latest releases, and films in Greece are not dubbed so visitors can also enjoy a night at the movies. There's a wide variety of shops selling local products as well as more widely known stores.  
There are also plenty of sights to see, including a castle, churches and museums.  
One of Kalamata's main assets is its wonderful beaches. Apart from the main Kalamata seafront with its clean, sand and shingle beach (which offers lifeguards, water-sports and sunloungers etc.) there is also a coastline full of picturesque villages and lovely, untouched beaches.  
As an alternative, Kalamata also offers beautiful, unspoilt countryside. The nearby Taygetos Mountains are just one of the many marvellous places visitors should visit.  
There are also places where you can play tennis or go horse riding and companies that organise cycling tours and diving for the more adventurous. The top-class Dunes Course at the Costa Navarino Golf Resort is about one hour away by car.

Bei dieser Wohnung stimmt alles. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und halten auch im Winter die Wäre gut. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist einerseits ruhig, andererseits sind es auch nur ein paar Minuten bis in die Altstadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

This apartment was very comfortable with all the ammenities you need. Very quick walk (5 min) to the old town area. City bus stop 2 min walk- takes you to the beach area in 15 minutes. Nicola and Giorgos were great hosts. Very quick with communications and helpful suggestions. I highly recommend this property.

The owners, George and Nicola, welcomed us in their property. It was very easy to contact them before our arrival. Their house is very spacious for a family to stay and enjoy Kalamata. It is very close to Kalamata’s bus station and a sort walking distance to Kalamata’s major stores and famous coffee shops and restaurants. Το σπίτι ήταν σούπερ, με όλες τις ανέσεις που μπορεί κάποιος να έχει. Καθαρό, εύκολα προσβάσιμο και το πιο οργανωμένο που έχουμε μείνει. Η επικοινωνία με τους ιδιοκτήτες επίσης άψογη. Περάσαμε υπέροχα!!!

Wunderbare Wohnung, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zentrale Lage und immer einen Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Η κατοικία είναι αρκετά κοντά στο ιστορικό κέντρο. Οι ιδιοκτήτες μας παρείχαν τα πάντα. Το σπίτι είναι πολύ άνετο, οι χώροι τεράστιοι. Η καθαριότητα αξεπέραστη. Έχει 2 βεράντες μοναδικές. Οι ιδιοκτήτες πολύ φιλόξενοι. Μας άφησαν την συγκεκριμένη κατοικία, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη για να μείνουμε σαν να είμασταν γνωστοί, ή φίλοι τους. Θα φροντίσω να ξαναπάω στην πόλη τους και θα μείνω στο συγκεκριμένο διαμέρισμα. Ευχαριστούμε για την διαμονή.

#### All you could want in a rental property - and more

Nicola is an excellent host, responding quickly, being very helpful in every aspect of the rental and providing lots of local info. The apartment is on the 1st floor and very spacious. It is very well appointed with plenty of household and kitchen equipment.TV, DVD and WiFi are available.There are ceiling fans and AC in the main lounge and bedrooms, but with patio / french doors on either side of the apartment it is easy to get a nice through breeze. The location of the apartment is a short walk from the bus station and main market, supermarket and bakery, with many restaurants and cafes in the old town area.A good base for exploring the general area, free on street parking readily available should you decide to hire a car.Would fully recommend a stay here. One cautionary note, the near by church bells are sounded every morning about 7am, but this could be said for many places in Greece, it didn't spoil our stay.

It is a great apartment apartment and we have been very comfortable. It has everything. Kalamata is very good to visit the peninsula of Mani and Mystras, sites that we have loved.

#### Tolle Wohnung, groß & voll eingerichtet

Alles tiptop! Komplette Ausstattung, 2 WCs, 2 Balkone. Lage ist ok, in der Nähe zur Altstadt und zum Schloss und direkt neben dem Busbahnhof (KTEL). In die Innenstadt/ Strand ist ein Auto hilfreich oder der Bus (Einzelticket 1,30 €). Einzige Einschränkung: die Kirche (direkt gegenüber) läutet morgens um 7 Uhr ziemlich laut.

Kalamata hat viel zu bieten, Shopping, Kultur, Strand und mediteranes Ambiente! Sehr schöne Landschaft, voll Olivenbäume! Gut gelegen für weitere Ausflüge nach Olimpia, Stoupa oder auch andere Strände. Von Athen aus in 2 1/2 Stunden per Autobahn direkt in Kalamata!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Auswahl und hatten viel Glück mit der sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieterin, mit der sich ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis entwickelte. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben: großräumig, modern, sauber, gut ausgestattet und zentral gelegen. Hier kann man ohne zu zögern erneut hinfahren. Es war unsere erste Ferienwohnung, die wir mit unserer 6-köpfigen Familie gebucht haben und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, sondern positiv überrascht !!! Alles O.K. DANKE !!!
