Well my Cozy Downtown Studio is the place for you!!!!! Its multiple retail stores, restaurants, parks and venues to explore nearby. \*Minute Maid Park \* George R Brown \*Toyota Center \*Discovery Green Park. \*Phoenicia Specialty Foods (It's like a Whole Foods Grocery Store) \*Hearsay on the Green (Bar) \*Pappasitos Restaurant \*Kelsey Pharmacy \*McCormick and Schmicks Seafood/Steak \*China Garden \*The Shops at Houston Center (Shopping Mall) All the above suggestions are walking distance from the studio. No smoking is allowed in the STUDIO however its a couple of different shared seating areas that you can access and smoke. No SMOKING in the UNIT at all and NO PETS!! I'm extremely allergic to animals!!!! The Bed is Firm! Studio is located on the second floor with NO elevator access. The kitchen lacked a couple of things (no sharp knives or coffee mugs), but overall served its purpose. The apartment building itself is very old and the common areas are a bit shabby; but the location and proximity to the stadiums and Marriott conference center were fantastic. I did have to reach out to the manager to get our check in info timely, but our host was quick to respond to any concerns we had.
