RENOVATED 07/20! Corner Beachfront Penthouse in Kapa'a w/AC!!

"Very nice, well-equipped 3rd floor unit and beautiful view from lanai of ocean and walking path.Only complaints are that the portable AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy as it went through its cycles. And the bathroom’s exhaust fan was not effective to remove damp, stale air.Otherwise, our five days at Pono Kai’s Corner Beachfront Penthouse was wonderful!"

"The Sheraton Coconut Beach Resort is hands down the best stay our family has had in a long time. This is a special place. The rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable and beautiful, most overlook the ocean from the small balcony. This hotel is beachfront and has a gorgeous resort style pool right next to the ocean. There are numerous restaurants and dining options too. It’s located almost centrally and is close to many island attractions. For a Mom who wakes up early, I was able to head down to the lobby at 5:30 am to grab one of their gourmet coffees and breakfast foods at their First Light cafe and sit by the pool and beach to watch the sunrise before the kids woke up. After a few days on the island, my kids just wanted to stay at the resort that have different activities for families every day. The staff were so friendly too. After leaving the Sheraton, we flew to Oahu which is beautiful too but pales significantly to Kauai and the Sheraton Coconut Beach Resort. We will return there next Summer for certain. Loved this hotel!"

"This was the perfect spot! Its centrally located so close to everything. Clean property with so many amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful as well with anything that we needed. We will definitely he staying here every time we come to Kauai!"

"Amazing views! Close to sores and food options. We loved have a nice beach nearby. The grounds are well kept. We wished we had more time to hang out in the pool area and play games. We fed the fish one morning and our family enjoyed that. I would stay here again and would recommend."

"Joel and Tamara’s condo is absolutely perfect for a stay in Kauai! It’s centrally located, walking distance to town for restaurants, some amazing food trucks, and shopping. The spaciousness of the main living area with it’s expansive view is incredible! The kids walked in first and they were audibly excited with our home away from home. It did not disappoint and perfect for our family of 6.Joel and Tamara were great hosts and communication was clear, concise and appreciated. The unit is part of the Pono Kai resort so we had access to all their amenities. There is a paved walking/biking trail that the runs along the ocean front along with a small beach. There are many other beaches nearby also.Saturday night was a treat as the local community was having a street fair with local food vendors and crafters along with music, etc. Not sure how often they do this but save your appetite that night for the variety of culinary delights prepared by the locals! Also, one of the best breakfasts of our 2 week vacation in both Maui and Kauai was Java Kai in town. The Surfer Girl breakfast sandwich is one of the best we’ve had along with their Avacacdo Toast and Breakfast Burrito. A bit of a wait but well worth it!Once you familarize yourself with the resort you’ll soon find out this is one of the premium 2 story end units that is much larger than the rest of the units. Well worth it! We will stay here again if our travels bring us back to Kauai!"
