Now Featuring: Air-Conditioning in the bedroom and living room! Conveniently located between the south and north shore is this wonderfully appointed one-bedroom, one and a half bath, ocean-view condo at Lae Nani. Tucked away off a quaint side street in Kapaa, Lae Nani condos are walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, the Tuesday afternoon Farmers Market, Passion Bakery, Imua Coffee, Russel’s Vegan Café, Hukilau Lanai known for their excellent local cuisine, as well as Lava Lava Beach Club famous for their tropical craft cocktails and tables in the sand. This condo has an amazing oversized, covered lanai with two chaise loungers perfect for taking in the big ocean views. It’s a wonderful spot to relax and watch the sunrise while drinking your morning coffee. Once inside, the owners have thoughtfully designed the space with an elegant mix of unique, retro Hawaiian décor. The kitchen has updated appliances, all the necessities for meal prep, and a breakfast bar with two stools. The dining area features a gorgeous, marble dining table and seating for four. The entertainment area features a smart TV (streaming services available), cable, and high-speed internet throughout the condo. Condo is located on the 3rd floor (please note, there is no elevator). The garden bedroom features a king-sized bed with fresh, white linens, a modern dresser, and a cozy sitting area. There is also an updated, en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo and beautiful, quartz vanity. There is an additional half bath off the main living area of the condo. Lae Nani offers a wonderful list of amenities. Swim in their ocean front pool, play tennis or pickleball on their private court, or walk along the white sand beach affronting the property which continues to a protected cove called Baby Beach, perfect for little ones. The host was wonderful, low stress. The condo was nice at 808 square feet very well kept up. It was magical to sit on the lanai and watch and hear the waves on the beach. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and a convenience store to buy groceries and meals. There were many days we didn’t have to use our car. The ceiling fans were going also. We were really disappointed in the condition of the carpet in the unit. There were stains in the entry, dining room, living room and the master bedroom. The exhaust fan / light over the range did not work. The icemaker in the refrigerator did not work. The refrigerator handle was disgustingly dirty. The area rug on the lanai was moldy, and the chair cushions on the lanai were torn. It was not what we were expecting compared to the other units we have stayed in at Lae Nani. ##### Jean K. The grounds are beautiful, easy and direct beach access with laundry on-site. Our condo was nice, cable tv, and newer updates. This unit was closer to the main road and we did have a lot of road noise. The sound bar to the tv was easy to connect however, the cable/tv switched itself off, often. You would need to reboot, find your app/program and reconnect the sound bar. The unit is fully carpeted in the common areas, we didn't love that. The lanai storage closet had lots of toys to borrow, we added to with with nice pool floats. The kitchen was small but functioned well, it came with cooking tools, soap, trash bags, we added to the spice collection for the next guest. Easy access to the beach that was not busy and did not have a lot of "foot traffic" going through made it feel very secluded. The pool was wonderful as well. The property felt very safe and had everything we needed. The a/c unit is portable and noisy, so if that bothers you, then may want to consider other units. ##### Jimmy D. Waking up every morning hearing the waves crashing on the beach was incredible. Even without air conditioning, the condo was still very pleasant and cool at night with the ocean breeze and fans in the condo. The location is perfect; plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
