With the small beach out front and a view of the ocean from the lanai it was the ideal relaxing getaway we were looking for . The little Hawaiian monk seal that was resting on the beach during our stay was pretty neat to see. The condo had everything we needed to cook our suppers at home; but had Lava Lava next door for the days we didn’t want to :) The bike path starts right there and kayaking is a 2 min drive. It is also 1 to 1.5 hours from this location to the furthest point north and “south” around the Nā Pali coast. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hoover’s condo in Lae Nani. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Communication leading up and to during our stay was fantastic. Beautiful view out onto the lush grounds and ocean beyond. Nice lanai to sit and have coffee in the morning. Beautiful spot to watch the sunrise just steps away. Plenty of parking right in front. We stay in VRBO’s and other home sites and hands down LaeNani soared to the top of our list. Ralph and Elizabeth have literally thought of everything and staying in their dream place made you feel like you were living in paradise. You literally only need to show up with a bathing suit, and some shorts, load the Shaka app on your phone and then fall in love with Kauai. The location, the complex, the beach, the pool, the grounds…perfection. I was very concerned about not having a/c in July, please don’t worry, follow the directions and you will be just fine.
