Plus air conditioned! This air conditioned east shore Kauai vacation rental on the Royal Coconut Coast at Wailua Bay View 302 is perfect for your romantic getaway. The beach is right in front. Literally right in front. You've got a perfect beach and ocean view that extends all the way across Wailua Bay. Just follow the stairs and you're on the sand in about two minutes. Shopping and dining are practically on your doorstep. It's only a couple minutes walk to sushi, burgers, or pizza, there's a convenience store quite close, and other shopping and dining choices are nearby too. The main shopping area in old Kapa'a, chock full of adorable shops, local crafts, great places to eat, is two miles away. You can hoof it if you'd like, it takes a half hour at a pretty good call for an uber, if you don't have a rental car. Centrally located so you can easily explore the whole you decide to just stay in and enjoy the private lanai and comfortable bed and work on your tan at the beach! This beach view one bedroom, one bath condo on the top floor has a private lanai overlooking Wailua Bay. There's endless entertainment watching the waves, the surfers, monk seals, and even whales. If you fancy a stroll or a swim, it's just moments to head down to the beach, literally just feet from your door. The Wailua River is only minutes away if you plan on taking a boat ride to Fern Grotto or paddling a kayak upriver. You'll find one bedroom with a comfortable king bed. There's a full bathroom with tub and shower. The living room is furnished with your relaxation in mind so the couch is oversized and comfy, the television is large, and there's plenty of lighting for reading or playing games or you can dim it down to look out the windows at the moonlight on the ocean. But if you want to shut out any traffic sounds or crowing roosters, you can sleep quiet and cool in air-conditioned comfort. There's bar seating for two at the kitchen counter, as well as a little dining area which easily does double-duty as a place to work for one or two people (enjoy the fabulous view while you work or turn around and make everyone soooo jealous on your zoom meetings by showing THEM the view instead). For your entertainment, there's free wifi, and a large flat screen television. Washer and dryer provided in the unit. AIR CONDITIONING is available throughout the entire you probably won't need it. With the lanai sliding glass door open, the ocean breezes come through and keep the entire condo refreshingly cool. But if you want to shut out any traffic sounds or crowing roosters, you can sleep quiet and cool in air-conditioned comfort. Traditional island decor and soothing colors compliment the spectacular panoramic ocean view from your lanai. Complex amenities include a recently renovated pool, gas grills, and free parking (one car only!). This central location on the Coconut Coast makes travel to the north or south shore a convenient day trip without too much driving. Fully air conditioned This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators. Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party. My husband and I sat on the porch every night and listened to the waves and watched for whales. The condo was very quiet, I do not remember hearing anyone else in the complex. We did enjoy having the air conditioning that looked new in the living room. Some nights were pretty warm when we returned from our days adventure. I loved the location as it was central to everything we wanted to do. Close to everything we needed. I was really impressed with the communication process. I was contacted multiple times with reminders and suggestions. Not once did I question what I needed to do or where to go. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. There was plenty of towels and laundry supplies also. Parking was also never a problem when we came home each night. I would for sure stay here again if we ever returned to Kauai!! ##### Tonya L. The maid was still cleaning when we arrived. The maid \[supervisor\] could not get the door code to work so we sat on the stairs and sat and sat. Could not get thru to anyone for wi-fi codes--finally got a call back, Finally the maid learned the trick to the door code and in we went, Awesome view of the ocean. Interesting watching the homeless who were camped on the beach next door building bonfires, arguing and ranting,, Again, the stairs are KILLER. Really appreciated the laundry and all the kitchen perks. Slept like logs--very good bed and very quiet. Would we stay here again? Perhaps on a ground floor rental. The manager is a super nice guy: so positive and accomodating. Traffic along Kuhio is bumper-to-bumper 8AM-4 ish road construction. ##### Elaine M.
