Unfortunately, the place does have a bug infestation. The bugs fall on you while you use the bathroom, shower, eat, cook and sit to watch TV. There were bugs on the beds, toilet paper, paper towels, cabinets, fridge, microwave deck. The bugs loved to hang out on the bathroom plungers and toilet brushes and then would step on all the surfaces you sit at. The bugs would crawl and fall into your food. My 1 year old daughter ate a bug. This vacation became a nightmare. My kids could not even open their gifts on the floor with the amount of dead bugs. Be ready for the narrow roads. Only one other cabin nearby and it was so quiet. The cabin was in good condition and met all our needs. We did not try the hot tub though it was available. Remote, way off in the woods, like a 12 min drive into the complex from the road. We got there at like 11pm to find stripped beds and sheets in the washer. The views off the deck and from the hot tub were absolutely amazing. The owner was very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay.
