Beautiful, recently-updated basement apartment with a private patio, kitchenette, and cozy living space with a 55" smart tv! Our space has a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed, as well as a couch in the living room that can double as a pull-out bed. It is centrally located as well, and is within walking distance of a coffee shop and park, as well as 25 minutes or less away from places such as USAFA, Garden of the Gods, Peterson Air Force Base, and the Colorado Springs airport! We have guests that live upstairs above the VRBO, so you may hear them from time to time. It’s very cute and quaint. The bed was comfortable and living room area was nice. It was about 20 minutes from most places (downtown, Garden of the Gods, etc.). The neighborhood was nice and safe. Only a few things to beware of: 1\. The rental has sliding doors, so unfortunately the only way to lock the place from the inside is with a piece of plywood. So as two young women, we were a little apprehensive about that. The lock for the gate does not work from inside the backyard. 2\. Unlocking the sliding doors from the outside was quite difficult at times. 3\. There were also dirty towels in the bathroom upon arrival.
