I booked a room with ocean view, however, upon my arrival I was told I had not paid for this. Also, one of the main elevators was not working so we had to take two elevators to get to our room. Food was not all that great and water for the shower was extremely dirty, coming out brown most of the time. Nevertheless, I give the staff a 5 star. They were great.

Our room was amazing, walk out to adult pool , right in the ocean. Unfortunately children kept getting in the pool when it clearly states adults only. Also our deck was attached to the pool and people would put there stuff on our decks use as a pathway and even try to sit in our deck chairs. Was very annoying. B Pools were very clean. Breakfast had many options. Could have been warmer but very yummy. Service was fantastic, they really go out of their way to make your stay excellent. Hats off to our pool server Sara, she was so so good. Friendly and got all drinks and food items as well. Such a beautiful human.

I WANT to give this hotel 5 stars BUT... Emporio Cancun has a lot to offer. It's rooms, hotel, lobby, swimming pools, everything is outstanding! The breakfast amazing! First night we arrive, they check us in, they give us a nice big room, we go to sleep, and in the morning we get up to NO WATER. There is no water running in the faucets. They get it resolved by mid afternoon. ok. The bathroom, it has a divider between the shower and the toilet. Well, that divider is not high enough! It looks high, but every time you have a shower there is water collection by the toilet. The divider isn't functional. These little things add up or else this hotel would deserve a 5/5.

We did not like anything at this hotel. Waste of money. The food was terrible and extremely overpriced, the pools were dirty, the AC never seemed to work and the bathroom and shower smelled like sewage. The drinks were watered down and expensive. The check in and check out staff were rude, abrasive and condescending and inflexible. We've traveled to Cancan several times and this was far was the worst hotel we've stayed in. Lesson learned never to stay here again nor would I ever recommend this.
