Séjour de 2 nuits en octobre 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Michael A. 1 sept. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### We understand 'home share', but this was too much This rental was a real mix of good and bad, but ultimately if someone were to ask if I would recommend it, the answer is sadly a NO. First the good: - Cozy, clean, and easy to get into and out of. The street is busy but there was always parking within a block. Noise level was minimal despite being a busy street. - Convenient walking distance to the entire Northern Historic District, and a quick drive to everything on the south side (we were in town for an event at Wind Creek) - Everything was labeled (with an old house there are fewer switches & plugs so it wasn't always clear what was what) - Safe and secure. Now for the rest: - The bed is really uncomfortable. This is our third trip this year and I travel a decent amount for work, and this is by far the least comfortable bed we’ve encountered. - The RULES. We are very much rule-followers and are fine with guidelines ... but when there is a manual with page after page of double-sided rules & restrictions - you end up spending your visit ensuring you don't step out of line. - Usage of the patio - while there were pictures of the patio in the featured photos, we never stepped foot until taking care of our trash & recycling at the end of our stay. Why? Because one of the rules states that guests must put in a request to use the patio - and even then only if not in use by the owners. We got up in the morning and were drinking coffee, but one of the owners was outside so we just stayed on the couch. ##### Michael A. If you are participating in a Runner’s World event, this location is ideal, as you can walk to the starting spot for the races. Easy to access restaurants and more. This was the perfect place to be to enjoy both the Bach Festival and the Arts Fair on Main Street. It is easy to get to, and getting to Bethlehem's lovely Main Street is six short blocks-- beautiful all the way. Transport to South Side attractions is easy-- although I took my car to the Bach Festival, found parking near Lehigh U, not a problem. The apartment had all the amenities I needed. Some might find it a little small--but the point is not the apartment, but everything to which you will have access from this prime location. There are really NO comparable VRBO's for a Bethlehem visit!! ##### Sally B. Séjour de 3 nuits en mai 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Susan S. 26 déc. 2017 #### Great Location for Pleasant Walk into Downtown Bethlehem Cozy and convenient apartment to all the restaurants, cafes, and shops in historic downtown Bethlehem. Leave the car curbside at the apartment for a pleasant easy walk through the historic district into town and all it has to offer. You could even walk to the Southside and the Steel Stacks if you wanted to take a longer walk and enjoy the views. The pictures accurately portray the spotless apartment. The kitchen is small, but has all the essentials for meal prep, although with all the fabulous restaurants just steps away, why cook! The bedroom on the second level is spacious and the mattress very comfortable. The en suite vintage bathroom is roomy as it is quaint. The water pressure for an older building is excellent. Only caveat for those with mobility issues is the traditional steep PA staircase leading up to the bedroom and only bathroom on the second level. It is carpeted though for surer footing.
