It is certainly one of the best houses we've stayed at. Incredibly beautiful and fit our 3 families well. It is luxury. The only draw back is that it is at least 30 minutes away from the main part of Lake Travis. I thought it was a short distance. It's about 45 minutes away from Austin. But if you just want to stay in the area, the house is amazing and this area north of Austin makes you feel like you are in the mountains. The hills are gorgeous! Beautiful views. After we had booked and paid, we were notified that we could no longer stay there. I had never had anything like that happen. Our money was fully refunded and the company said they would find a comparable place. The places they had available were not comparable so we were scrambling to find another place.
