« Our stay at the GrandWest Arashiyama was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean, reception was incredibly helpful, and the location was quiet and idyllic. During our stay we made the most of the amenities including free refreshments, a washing/drying machine, and a cute cafe situated just downstairs from the hotel entrance. Our stay here was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Japan and I highly encourage those visiting Arashiyama to consider this hotel! »

It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. "Magnifique endroit traditionnel. 5 Bains privés (taxe 150 yens et par personne par jour ) et publics. Le repas est à faire un moins une fois au Japon, une superbe expérience. Pleins de petites attentions qui vont du katana aux glaces et thé froid offert à la sortie du spa. Très bien placé et le calme d’Arashiyama fait le plus grand bien lorsque vous arrivez de Tokyo"
