The apartment was lovely. Great woodsy location with a nice view. Bed comfy but hard. Kitchen adequate for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t do dinner because that would have been just microwave meals. Loved having the hot tub although it goes through a noisy filtering process for 4 hours each day. Bring a sleep mask in the summer. Top of the alpine windows do not have any curtains. We did meet Steve the owner on site and he was lovely. COMMUNICATION with property manager. I am inclined to never book with something that uses Vacasa again. There is virtually no way to get in touch with a real person! I could not find out anything about certain amenities that normally I would have been able to talk with the owner about. IE: coffee filters. We bought them and there were probably about literally 1000 coffee Filters there already because everyone else had the same problem and bought them. Also no way to find out if there was a hair dryer. They could have listed these things in. Amenities. I know these are little things but I am totally turned off that i could not talk with a real person . I communicated with AI via text. Check in was on the late side and check out was on the early side. I contacted the manager 2 days before our stay with a question and didn't get a response, only an automated email that didn't address my question. There was excessive signage in apartment regarding rules that made it feel a bit unwelcoming. The hot tub was perfect, clean and had a beautiful view. So glad we could spend our honeymoon in Girdwood. The property had everything we needed to live in luxury while enjoying trails, snow and awesome food. Fyi: be sure to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the driveway if you're coming during the frozen months (we arrived April 1st) ##### Charles L. The view was amazing and it was close to the shops and restaurants we visited. The hot tub wasn’t as private as I expected but it was nice to unwind with the view.
