"Let’s get the slight negatives out of the way first. 1) It’s a LONG way from the city and is over an hour on public transport. "The pool and bar area were good; clean, fun and good food/service. But sofa bed was very poor; no comfort as the mattress has warn though and to say that you could feel the frame underneath is an understatement! Whilst the air conditioning in the accommodation was fab, the ants in the bathroom and running water that lurched from cold to boiling no so great when trying to wash. "The property expirience does not match pictures on expedia. We didn't get property as it was on picture when I made booking on expedia.it. On my request they gave me apropriate apartment but in 10pm! they asked me to pay full price of that apartment although I already paid most of that amount throught reservation.. on a side fact that I booked that better apartment according to pictures on expedia.. "Hotel is about 20miles from the main tourist attractions in Rome. Room was clean, basic setup to sleep and shower, nothing fancy. Staff was VERY nice and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was light. A/C worked fine. Bus to the local train station stops right in front of hotel. To get from Massimino to Rome is about a ten minute bus ride to the hote then about an hour train ride into central Rome."
