There are many excellent things about this property. We were able to get a long-stay room (8 days) facing the interior atrium on the 6th floor, which meant that despite being in central Rome we had a very quiet night's sleep. The room in general, the furnishings, the beds, the windows, were (with one very unfortunate exception I will describe below) excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The neighborhood of this property was perfect for getting restaurant dinners even in the busy Christmas week, walking to and from historical sites in Rome, taking the Metro, or taking a high-speed train to Pompeii (as well as taking an express train to and from the airport).
There is *one* problem with the property, and it is unfortunately severe enough that I have to downcheck this property in some ways: the toilet barely worked. It was so underpowered on flushing that it was quite difficult to dispose of solid wastes or even toilet paper. That's a *serious* defect in a room where two people are staying for a week and a half. If the property's managers replaced their existing bathroom toilets with ones that flushed effectively and reliably, then my objection would go away; but until they do that, I have to warn future possible customers about this problem, because it was significantly unpleasant for us.
