The hotel is very similar to Hotels in North America, which is what we wanted. The rooms are clean and semi-modern. Everything you need is close by. However, we found the front desk staff quite rude this time—not just a little rude; it’s like they went out of their way to be rude. They need to bring their old staff back. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff in the breakfast room were also excellent. They had an assortment of hot and cold items, from traditional North American breakfast to traditional Italian breakfast. We loved it. The last time we were there in 2019 they had valet parking. This time, they did not, but what really irritated us was that the front desk staff insisted it was "Impossible." They said they never had valet parking. There was. We remember it clearly because it was a running joke in our house that we should have waited for the valet because it took my husband an hour to get to the hotel from across the street because of the one-way streets. This was our go-to hotel in Rome, but we will likely try a different hotel next time because of the rude staff, and lack of valet parking. Nobody needs that kind of attitude on vacation.

Conveniently located near the international airport, but there really isn't much else. Reasonably priced but there are very limited food options, aside from the restaurant onsite and a spot with amazing food about a mile away. Overall, I thought the hotel's aesthetic was a bit outdated, but it served its purpose for a one night stay.

The hotel was nice and a great way to get off the plane and sleep. The hotel is in the middle of no where and you pay a premium to get to/from airport and to Rome. They do provide a shuffle for 15€ but the times did not work with early morning tours or exploring or for the late night dinners. Roughly 50€ one way trips to get what you need. The bus and train stops are 1.5km away so moving luggage was not feasible. If you are looking for a hotel way from the noise and ease of American amenities, this place is for you. Room was nice and the dual bathroom was great.

Very convienent for airport transfers , Telephone was not working (when I wanted wake up call). A piece of door knob was loose and kept detaching , but it locked ok. Staff was polite and friendly, but it seems overworked and took a bit long to get back to us. they had a clean environment with a pool , staff checked 5 lounge chairs for one that had all parts working. That is why i gave it a 4

Internet was down, check in took 45min, no one answered the phone for late night kitchen/room service despite it being open 24/7, had to beg to be let into the breakfast buffet at 10:55am even though it closed at 11am and there was a massive spread still available to patrons already dining. Will never stay here again or at a Marriott.

The approach to the hotel was not very attractive, from the point you get off their highway, I wonder if Marriott could communicate that with their highway authorities. No real signage showing that there's a Marriott coming up when you pull into the guard booth, and not clear signage. The exterior is like a conference center, not much attractiveness to it. Once inside it's beautiful. The rooms are very nice. The pool area is gorgeous, could use some lawn games like bocce ball or a small soccer playing field, something to reflect Italy. Some sculptures are present which is nice. The dining area by the pool is very nice. Unfortunately no real table service at the pool area, you have to walk a very short distance to the restaurant area. No poolside bar service which would really generate nice revenue for them and be convenient for the guests. Overall a very nice stay experience. We were there for a long time, 2 weeks. We did ask for a transfer to the Marriott property in Milan, owned by the same individual apparently, but we were not given the opportunity to switch. The food was excellent, the desserts were excellent, I can recommend staying here especially if you don't want to be in the bustling downtown Rome area the entire time. Very convenient to the Rome FCO airport. Staff were very friendly, and spoke English very nicely.

Overall our stay at Rome Marriot was okay. The room was outdated, clock not working, only one bedside lamp, no shower curtains, fridge was empty, the check in process was late as one of the two rooms that we booked was not ready. The people at the check in counter was not friendly and seemed unhappy. No directions were provided to our room. Had to ask about the wifi access and amenities available at the hotel. The lifeguard working at the swimming pool wasnt doing his job right, always on his phone and acting as if he owns the place. The tiles in the swimming pool has green molds and needs to be cleaned properly. The lobby of the hotel is extremely nice but that is the only part. Food at the restaurants was 5/10. Overall felt that staff had a demeaning attitude towards people of color and different race.

We like pet friendly hotels as we travel with our dogs (this was not the case) but it has to be clean! After a chaotic check in because of a short staff for the quantity of guests, we noticed the carpet was very wet with dog pee, we didn't have towels for four people in the room, only two bath towels which took me three trips downstairs to get them. Finally the pool is beautiful, but it closes at 7 pm during the summer, we booked the hotel because of it and was not able to use. The hotel is old and needs an urgent update.
