The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and tolerant of our horribly embarrassing attempt to speak Italian. The beds were very comfortable. Maid service was top tier. Highly recommend!

The property itself is very clean and very nice. I gave the staff a 3 because I tried to set up pick up at the airport and they were over an hour late. That same day, I set up pick up at the cruise port and no one ever showed up. When I called the hotel, a staff front desk member advised I had never scheduled same; then, when I arrived at the hotel from the cruise port, I saw the staff member I had made the transport arrangements with and he confirmed that he'd arranged it. It seems the staff is missing a link between shifts, or not following up on transport reserverations you entrusted them to make. Make a private transport reservation! Other than that, I recommend the hotel.

The property is located close to the train station and restaurants. The outside area is nice for a drink we never had there lunch or dinner but breakfast was awful. The family rooms are spacious. Overall not the worst place to stay but we would try somewhere else next time.

Our room was a good size, especially for Rome. The bathroom was a great size, had 2 sinks which convenient for 3 people. There was an extra area where the wardrobe was where we were able to put put our bags .

This is a 150 year old hotel with charm and elegance. The staff were great. It’s a 10 minute walk to the train station. It’s another 20 to 30 minute walk to most historical sites.
