Tiny House - Big Fun!

Enjoy this cozy and unique tiny house perched atop of Mad River Mountain Ski Resort! The tiny house provides a fun and peaceful getaway while still being 15 minutes away from downtown Bellefontaine.

Owner of Rusty Fig Redesign, interior designer Janet and her two sons purchased the Tiny House and rehabbed it to the wonderful adventure it is today. Come stay at our family labor of love!

The space
The Tiny House is your tiny getaway, with everything you need to be at home!

There is a queen size bed in the loft only accessible by ladder. The sofa does fold out as an additional bed (which can fit one adult or 2 small children).

The tiny house has a flushable toilet and working shower (hot water lasts about 5 continuous minutes and regenerates about every 30 minutes.)

There is a fire pit and chairs, though you must supply your own firewood.

We now have Wi-Fi!

In winter, skiing is a short walk (~250 feet).

Guest access
You will have access to the campground amenities including a shared outdoor playground.

Great place if you just need a get away with someone special. Awesome for skiing. It gives you a chance to separate from the hustle and bustle of the lodge to make your own food and enjoy a break.

Perfect tiny house for us last minute. We spent most of our weekend exploring Columbus and even HockingHills. Everything is clean with soft blankets. We regretfully didnt get to use the firepit. The water does smell like eggs but there was plenty of bottled water there for us to use if we wanted/needed. The wifi was helpful and fast. The AC/Heat unit was also really nice. Heat rises to the loft but the AC was able to cool off the loft with the fan next to the bed too.

Perfect Tiny House Getaway

We've always wanted to stay in a tiny house, and this one did not disappoint! The attention to detail was absolutely amazing, right down to the French vanilla creamer for my coffee – such a thoughtful touch. The vibe of the house was warm, inviting, and charming, making it the perfect escape. The host was incredibly communicative, offering great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. It truly made our short getaway with our granddaughter unforgettable. Highly recommend this cozy little gem!

Great Little Getaway!

My husband and I got to sneak away for one night (we’ve got three young kiddos), and it was such a quiet, peaceful, restful little getaway. The house was so cozy and beautiful, and the hosts thought of so many thoughtful details. He would absolutely love to go back!

My spouse and I had an awesome stay! The owner is very communicative and friendly! The gated campground is very welcoming and beautiful. I’m 6’4 but the tiny house proved to be very comfortable and homey! Would definitely stay again.

My littles & I stayed here for a little overnight fun. It was so cute and just like the description described. I was updated with information fron the owner on check in and made the process so easy. The place was clean and plenty of area away from neighbors!
