« Absolutely loved it! Wish we stayed more than one night. Staff was amazing. We were an hour or so down the road and we got a call from the front desk. The cleaning staff found my wife had forgotten her diamond pendant and chain behind. They are shipping it to us. Definitely above and beyond. The common areas were great. We met some other guests that were quite friendly and entertaining. Will definitely come back and stay a long weekend next time we are in town. »

My only complaint would be that the last day that we were there we were out most of the morning into the afternoon & at 3:00 we returned to rest & shower for an early business dinner & the maid was first getting to our room, so we didn't have our room cleaned or made up. »

She lived here until 1938, attending church at the Cathedral across Lafayette Square and school at St. Vincent`s Grammer School, then facing the square between Harris and Macon Streets.
