"This hotel was the classiest and coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. Historically relevant. Beautifully refurbished into modern brick and dark metals. The food in the hotel downstairs was solid. Nothing unique or memorable, just solid. I felt that the staff was slightly neglectful and maybe a little standoffish? I encountered the problem at the front desk (both check-in and check out), and somewhat at the restaurants. Maybe it’s how Savannah is, but during our whole Eastern seaboard stay in lots of states this trip, that was the one unexplainable thing."

"This was my 2nd stay at The Thompson, and I again found it to be perfect! I love the design of the hotel and the well appointed rooms. Very clean, comfortable, and cool vibe. We also had an excellent view of the river from our room. And best of all, super dog friendly, including plenty of green space directly outside of the hotel. A+++++"
