This is a lovely old home close to beach. It would be on the beach but for a building in front. Sadly this limits the view. The staff is pleasant and helpful

This is a cute little motel. I had a nice stay there. I had a vehicle and I was able to park right in front of the door to my room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but the space overall was very cute and charming. I walked to the beach, restaurants and bars, and the location was great for that. I would recommend for a cost conscious travel motel.

The front desk person who signed us in was extremely friendly. Even though there was a 'boil water advisory ' ,he took good care of us and made sure we had enough bottled water.

We were on Tybee Island for 2 days of our 7 day trip to Georgia, South Carolina & North Carolina and they were by far the highlight of our trip! We loved our stay at Desoto Beach Gardens. It was the perfect set-up for our family of 4. The kitchenette was nice to have so we could have snacks and lunch food available without having to go to a restaurant. Stopped overnight at Ocean Oak Resort on the way back to DC from Disney. The hotels location is right on Hilton Head beach, south end of the island. Single row of monstrous 1300 sq ft two bedroom suites (more like a condo) with all amenities (washer/dryer, two elegant bathrooms and every kitchen gadget one could wish for. Hotel is currently expanding to triple the number of rooms so construction can bother some and it is not advertised as underway. This didn't bother our family as we spent...

the roof top pool and area were very relaxing even though a small pool. The little bard service and seating around the railings were nice. The room was very clean and everything worked well. The shampoo was good for me but my wife said it would lather in her thick hair so we had to buy some. The door was thick so we didn't hear much noise as long as people didn't let their door slam. The key is an old large metal key that we had trouble getting in the lock as did our neighbor as it is dim...
