Hotel has a wonderful personality. Staff was very friendly overall. Only issue we had was they were kind of rude about a late checkout request. They could have just explained it was not possible versus saying they never allow them. I do not follow why you would have a policy to never alllow. I do follow that sometimes it is not possible. We did check out bags with them for an hour and they were very friendly about it. Several guests have pets could be another selling point or turn off. The corner suite was extremely spacious, very clean, and the exposed brick was simply delightful for this enthusiast of historic preservation. I have to give a particular shoutout to Steven at the front desk: he went so far above and beyond in his hospitality!
