Used this hotel for my sons ski weekend to Wengen. It was a great choice for him as it was clean and the price was very good
Mark and Ahmed ( the morning and evening receptionists) at the hotel were fantastic in catering to my every need. With everything from directing me to finding the best places to eat, to ensuring that my stay was both comforting and enjoyable were just a few of the excellent additions while I was staying at the Jungfraublick.
Along with the above the room was spectacular, and the view outside of the balcony was brilliant, being able to see the mountains which I would later ski was breathtaking.
The morning breakfast was filling and delightful, and the staff working in the mornings ensured that I was well taken care of.
Good value for the money
The hotel is a 5-10 minute uphill walk from the main street, but you get the best view in return (at least from the upper floors). Facilities are mixed new and old but everything seems clean. Room still have ancient 15" CRT (!) TV sets. Shower hardware could be better for the price. Hosts prepared an outstanding Christmas dinner for our party of eight.

Ideal for short stay for a family on a budget. Close to rail links and in the centre of town. Nice community feel. Although the room was a little small for a family of 4 (children aged 14 and 10) it was clean and warm. Breakfast was great but the smell of fondue cheese in the hallway, from the restaurant, was very unpleasant.
The hotel and the town it was wonderful. I love the hotel since the moment we arrived. At the begining I was kind of disappointed because you can’t reach Wengen by car (the town were the hotel is located – about 15 mins by train) so I was kind of annoyed that we have to take a train and carry the bags, etc. but once we arrive to the town and we saw the hotel, we both were so excited and happy for choosing it.
The best of all was to wake up in the morning and the only thing that you can heard is the cow bells and the birds singing. It's an amaizing place to go away from the noise of the city.

The Hotel Belvedere is located outside of Interlaken, by two short train rides. The hotel is historical and has a lot of charm. Request a room facing the mountains so that you can relax on the balcony and take in the fresh air. We arrived at the end of season just one week before the hotel was scheduled to be closed. It was amazing, there were few travelers and a quiet town to relax. The hotel is located just a short walk from the train station and is set back from the heavy traffic areas. The breakfast was fantastic, service amazing and rooms very clean.
Imagine this - seeing the peak of Jungfrau through the window as you wake from sleep. This is what happened to me when we stayed at Hotel Caprice at Wengen.
This hotel does not look modern from outside (looks like any other swiss house) but everything inside the room is no less than a 4 star hotel. Spacious room, balcony with Alps view, tub in bathroom, carpet flooring etc.
It is worth the little extra money to get the room with the view. We were lucky as we got free upgrade to the mountain-side room.
Breakfast was adequate. Staff was cordial and helpful.
Accessible from the Wengernalp railway, this car-free resort is 400 meters above the Lauterbrunnen Valley in a wind-protected spot at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountain ranges. In winter, the town offers practice slopes, toboggan runs, and ice rinks along with easy access to nearby slopes. Summer visitors can hike and take cableways to some of Jungfrau's most breathtaking vistas.
