This one-of-a-kind home is situated in a hollow on one of the most beautiful frontages of the Mad River in Warren, Vermont. Located directly across the river from the center of Warren Village, this newly renovated adorable house has a brand-new high-end kitchen, new floors, paint, and linens. The main suite overlooks the river and has a propane fireplace and spa-like bathroom.

You will experience a feeling of retreat from the hectic life tucked into the hollow along the water. As the only house on the river bank on the same side of the river, you'll have plenty of privacy to truly get away from it all.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Enjoy a short walk to the village and enjoy The Warren Store for breakfast, lunch, shopping at the boutique, or groceries. Enjoy a swim at your doorstep or wading in the river. Sugarbush South base area is only two and a half miles up the hill, while Resort and Mad River Ski areas are only a few miles further. Enjoy all Vermont has to offer in one of the finest central locations. Vermont's favorite, Warren Falls, is less than two miles away, and if you're adventurous enough, you can try cliff-jumping!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

"We will notify the local team"

The place was nice, kitchen was beautiful. Appliances were top of the line.All of the thermostats were locked, and we weren't allowed to change the temperature except for two gas stoves and space heaters in the upstairs (there are no baseboard heaters upstairs). Main bedroom is either an ice box or a sauna depending on whether the gas stove is on.The hot tub control screen was broken, so there was no way to heat up the hot tub. When asked for a solution, was told "we will notify the local team and they will be over soon". Never showed.There were no extra garbage bags, and only two rolls of paper towels for a four night stay. When asked for more, we were told "go to the local store and buy more".This house was very expensive, and I expected better...

Great ski house and location

Location to Sugarbush was short drive to mountain and town. House was very comfortable and hot tub on river was really nice extra. I’m sure would be nice also in summer and fall also

The house was kept up and if very good shape. On the last day I we relized the dishwasher dishwasher was not working and recorded it to mgt. Over all very quite and a great place to get a away for a few days. Would recommend.

House by the river

The location by the river was beautiful. It was so nice to listen to the water while relaxing in the hot tub. The house was very clean and had all the supplies you need from a well stocked kitchen to toiletries in the bathroom. The property manager was easy to contact and provided necessary information in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again.

Horrible experience stay away!!!

Vacasa is probably the worst property manager. They cancelled on us one day before the reservation because the property had flooding damage. HOWEVER they DIDN'T REFUND OUR MONEY INSTEAD THEYRE ASKING US TO RE BOOK WITHIN 90 DAYS! 1. WE'RE NOT PLANNING ON GOING TO VT ANYTIME SOON 2. EVEN IF WE WERE PLANNING ON GOING, ONLY A COUPLE WEEKEND ARE AVAILABLE SO: WE COULDN'T ACCESS THE PROPERTY AND WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN OUR MONEY BACK IM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH A 10MONTH OLD BABY. I HAVE NO TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS. REFUND THE MONEY YOU'RE STEALING FROM ME

Nice spot. Glad we stayed there.

Lovely property and conveniently located. Very clean inside and out. Check in and check out were simple. Only 2 picky observations... first, the wifi information on the check in email was wrong, but the correct information was found reasonably quickly. Second, the coded door lock was very finicky and took several tries each time we had to enter the property. That was frustrating. Overall, however, it was a wonderful weekend in a beautiful location.

Mad River fun

My wife and I brought our two teenagers and three of their friends to Vermont to ski Sugarbush, and we found this house to be ideal for our group: the location on the river is cool, and the hot tub was a big hit with the kids. The only downside was that our cellphones got weak or no service, and the wifi/internet in the house was very slow. Other than that we had a great stay.

Awesome house. Wonderful yard. Great and clean hot tub and the stream our back is gorgeous to dip feet in. Wish the owners had installed the ACs because it was insanely hot in the upstairs and there's no central air, and we were not able to put the ones in the closets in ourselves so had a hard time sleeping due to the heat. Additionally the filtration system for the well water desperately needs to be updated or replaced as it smells very much like sulfur and is hard to smell when showering plus the water is hard in skin and hair as well. Everything was clean and organized and really nice.

Excellent Sugarbush Stay!

Great spot within 10 minutes of the Sugarbush area. Stayed with my family, we really enjoyed the full kitchen and comfortable space. Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, clean showers. Washer & dryer in the home, parking for 4 cars. Next to a nice river, soothing sound. House stays warm with the gas fireplace in the living room. Very enjoyable weekend in Vermont.

Beautiful location No hotub. No cell service

It was overall an absolutely amazing stay! Adorable cabin in a super charming town! 45 minutes for anything you could want to do! A lot of local food shopping in Warren. Great little town called Waitsfield about 10 minutes away. Only bummer is the hot tub wasn't working. Yes, they did credit me some money; however, this was literally the only reason I booked this cabin as it was our honeymoon.

We were really excited to find this place. CONS: The hot tub was not working. We weren’t notified. I contacted them and three different folks contacted me quickly and I found out within an hour it needed replacement parts. I literally picked this property because of the private hot tub AND paid a hot tub cleaning fee and couldn’t use it. The river access was dangerous. There was a note stating flooding had taken a part of the fence out. It was dangerous as it was a sheer drop with no fence or tape or warning. It was also nearly impossible to get down to the river. There was an electrical box in the laundry room with a wire coming out of it and cardboard taped over it. PROS: Beautiful spot. Comfortable house. Nice kitchen.

Wonderful, but I would be wary of a snowstorm

We had a wonderful ski weekend here. It's close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. I would recommend the house! Breakfast and dinner was easy to prepare for our crowd of 8. We had a movie night every night, and the guys enjoyed drinks in the hot tub each night. However, I would also note that there was room for improvement with snow clearing around the side of the house and near the hot tub. It would make me worry about driveway snow clearing if a snow storm came through, because we'd want to hit the slopes right away. Note that the driveway was plowed well when we got there, and we did not experience a big storm. The driveway sloped down to the house, so that'd be my worry about getting out in a storm. Also, the garbage shed was a mess, but guests only need to deal with that when we bring garbage out. Not a dealbreaker.

Wonderful riverside spot

The house was clean, comfortable and very well-situated right next to the river. It's walking distance to a wonderful country store and a short drive to many hikes, breweries, swimming holes and many other activities to spend a summer day. Highly recommended!

Great Place!

Truly a great place. Thanks for letting us stay. Amazing views and location. Really was truly nice, 5 stars all the way. Just as a suggestion - seemed a lot of windows were painted shut and/or missing screens. Would get those fixed. Also ceiling fan in upper bedroom broken, can get pretty hot up there. Or at least have box fan or something. Thanks!
