Come and enjoy Vermilion's small town feel with quaint shops, fine dining, local restaurants, festivals, arts and music. Along with summer's festivals, beaches, boating and local Farmer's Market. Sleeping Arrangement: Bedroom 1: One Queen Bed Bedroom 2: One Double Bed Common Area: One Twin Daybed Comfortable Non-smoking home! Garage available for recreational storage, but not vehicle use Guests should enter through garage for easy and convenient access. There are three steps to enter the home, but no additional steps inside the home. Pets are not permitted. Boat parking not available. Deposit and Cancellation Policy: 50% of the reservation value is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be collected 14 days prior to arrival. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival are non-refundable. Reservations cancelled 14 days prior to arrival are refundable minus a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellation or alteration requests must be initiated through the channel or website that you booked with. Please note that there are no exceptions to the cancellation policy unless booking insurance was purchased at time of booking. We were able to walk a block to the water (just to see it). The town is drivable and so quaint. Please note that while the house had wifi and we were able to use the wifi for Voice over internet for our phone, our phone had no coverage (Verizon) it kept trying to connect to international, and we noticed that the part of the actual lake was right near the border of Canada. At night, we could hear the border control helicopters, which didn't bother us but might bother others. The cell phone issue would have been a big issue if we didn't have the wifi due to our line of work. I would definitely stay here again. I was super clean, beds were comfortable. ##### Hope T. It's in Vermillion, very close to the center of town. I wouldn't say it's walkable--the street that leads from the home to town doesn't have a sidewalk so it's not very pedestrian-friendly. The house itself is very comfortable and cozy. A couple of small quibbles: a box of facial tissues would have been nice; none were provided. And the house rules asked the guests to wash the bath towels and take out the garbage before vacating the property. Not a big deal but a minor annoyance given that you have to pay a cleaning fee. All in all I would recommend Bluebird's Road to Happiness for anyone interested in visiting Vermiillion, ##### Tim F. We were pleasantly surprised at the garage space, it worked well as a place to air out and dry our clothes after fishing in the rain. The house was very clean, bathrooms were very nice.
